• She was buried on 12 Dec 1935 in the Apple Creek Cemetery in Apple Creek, OH.

It was interesting to note that when Mary died, she was not buried next to her most recent husband, Francis Lightfoot in East Union Lutheran Cemetery. That spot was already taken by Francis' first wife, Marie Shamp. Mary Vincent was buried in Apple Creek Cemetery. I suspect that she is buried next to her previous husband but I have not yet visited Apple Creek Cemetery to verify this. This might seem normal for remarriages of elderly couples, but Mary Vincent was only 39 years old when she married Francis and had at least one child was born to that marriage. (Brian L. Lightfoot)

bullet  Marriage Notes:

Source: Crescent newspaper clipping, unknown January 1896 date ; probably local newspaper in Wayne County, Ohio

F. L. Lightfoot, of this place, and Mrs. Mary A. Moore of Apple Creek were quietly wedded at the M. E. parsonage on Wednesday evening, Rev. E. D. Barnett officiating. The bride combines many graces and is also highly accomplished and an ex-teacher in the public schools at Apple Creek. The groom is a model gentleman and in every way worthy of his bride. The Crescent unites with their friends in extending congratulations.

NOTE - As best as can be determined, Mary Ann Vincent was previously married to "Moor" or "Moore". Her name on the license was given as Mary A. V. Moor which presumably meant Mary Ann Vincent Moor even though the license gives her prefix as "Miss". The license did not provide any information if there was a previous marriage or not. The newspaper article about the marriage gave her name as Mrs. Mary A. Moore.

She mentioned in her letter to Yvonne's aunt that she had received much of her information from a cousin, Donna Trapnell in San Diego, California.).
