⁷ Mrs. Vivian E. Brown, 58, 205 E. Sanborn St., died Sunday at 2:50 a.m. at Community Memorial Hospital following a short illness.

She was a silkscreen printer at Technigraph Corp.

The daughter of Joseph C. and Anne Drugan Hamernik, she was born in Winona October 11, 1921. She married Walter J. Brown. He died March 21, 1979. She was a member of Cathedral of the Sacred Heart.

Survivors are: a son, Kent L., Winona; a daughter, Mrs. Douglas (Lynn) M. Humble, Rushford, Minn.; three grandchildren; three brothers, Wayne and William Hamernik, Winona, and Joseph Hamernik, Oak Harbor, Wash., and a sister, Miss Teresa Hamernik, San Diego, Calif. A grandchild and a stepsister have died.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at Watkowski Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, the Rev. Robert Brom officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Friends may call today from 2-4 and after 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where a wake service will be at 7:30 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Edward Lynch, Walter W., Ned Jr., Roger, and Darrell Brown and Steve Rinn.
