OLAF M. NORD

This week we were handed a notation by Mrs. Walter J. Arbenger to the effect that Olaf M. Nord, a brother-in-law of the late Mr. Arbenger, now is attending Glendale College in California at the age of 65.

Many may remember Olaf Nord. He was a member of the regimental band at Plattsburgh Barracks around the turn of the century. He married Beulah Arbenger. His father in law, Philip Arbenger, was burled in the Post cemetery in 1898. Nord retired from military service several years ago as a band leader. He served in two world wars and on the Mexican border.

His studies at Glendale College include music, jewelry designing and woodworking. The Nords have seven children, two in military service, and several grandchildren.
