FORMER LEWISTON WOMAN KILLED BY CAR IN CALIFORNIA

Lewiston -- (Special to the Republican-Herald) -- Funeral services will be held here Monday afternoon at the Frank W. Kramer home for his sister , Miss Hulda Kramer, 49, who was struck by an automobile and killed in Los Angeles on New Year's Day.

The body is expected to arrive here Sunday morning, accompanied by Mrs. Lynn Ingersoll of San Francisco, a sister. Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. and burial will be made in the Lewiston cemetery.

Miss Kramer, a former Lewiston resident, had lived for the last 12 year s in Los Angeles, where she was employed as a milliner. Her body was held six days for a coroner's inquest into her death.

Miss Kramer, relatives here learned, was hit by an automobile and knocked in front of a streetcar, which ran over her. The automobile driver sped on without stopping. No one got his license number, and he has not been arrested.

Miss Kramer was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Kramer and was born on a farm a mile and a half north of Lewiston. She is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. August Fitzner of Ortonville, Mrs. Ella Alberts of West Concord, Mrs. Susie Ingersol of San Francisco, Calif., Mrs. Alvina Lisk of Lisbon, N.D., Otto Kramer of Pine Island and Frank Kramer of Lewiston.
