Following the death of his wife, Lucinda Kramer, in 1890, Charles apparently remarried about 1891 and appeared in the 1900 census as married for 9 years to what appears to be the name of his wife, Leoline (?). His first daughter, Lucinda, was not found with his family in the 1900 US Census and her whereabouts are unknown.
