Mrs. Vida A. Fast, 73, died Monday night at her home in Carmel township, two miles south of Charlotte. She was born Dec 26, 1870, at Bedford, Ohio, the daughter of Earl O. and Maria Nye. She came to Michigan with her parents when she was 10 years old. In 1888, she was married to Eleazer O. Fast, who survives, with a sister, Mrs. Cora Belle Jaquette of Battle Creek, and two brothers, Carl W. Nye of Olivet and Roy A. Nye of Hastings. Funeral at 3 (EWT) Thursday at the Burkhead funeral home. Burial in Maple Hill cemetery.
