William Horace Baughman ^{1 2 3}

  General Notes:

There is a William H. Baughman who shows in the 1870 census of Placer County, California. That person was born in 1850 in Illinois and worked as a clerk in a grocery store. Supposedly William Horace Baughman was married in Fulton County, Illinois in 1867 and had a son born there in 1871 but I wonder if he wasn't part of the California gold rush for a short period of time.

I also wonder why there is no other definitive records of him in the 1850, 1860, or 1870 census records.
