• His obituary was published in the Elyria Chronicle Telegram on 14 May 1921 in Elyria, OH.

⁹ Rev. Harry Albert Lawrence who has been residing with his wife at 263 West College street for the last year, died at the sanitarium at Cuyahoga Falls after having suffered for some time from a nervous breakdown.

Mr. Lawrence was a graduate of Oberlin college with the class of 1889. On Aug. 5, 1890 he married Miss Kathryn C. Vance from Orange, O., who was a student in the conservatory of music.

Over a year ago Mr. Lawrence suffered a nervous breakdown owing to hard work and was obliged to give up his preaching. He and his wife came to Oberlin and purchased the home on West College street, hoping that the rest from work and the quiet life here would restore his strength.
