NOTE - (Emery) Walton Roose shows his birth location as Illinois which is also where his sister, Ida Roose, shows on her census record with her husband's family. Lovina was born in Ohio where most of her family remained for their lives so with Frank also being born in Ohio, it is highly likely that they met and were married in 1856 in Ohio, probably in or around Mahoning County. With their children, son Walton and daughter Ida, both being born in Illinois then it is obvious that Frank Roose and his wife, Lovina Goodman, lived for a period of at least two years time in Illinois prior to moving to Arkansas sometime between 1861 and 1880.
