Treacy J. Stump, 88, of Sand Ridge, died Sunday, May 1, 1994, at Americare-Glenville after an extended illness.

She was born in Calhoun, a daughter of the late George and Bessie Wilson. She retired as a postmistress at Apple Farm with 30 years of service. She belonged to Grantsville Rebekah Lodge and Rush Run Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Rupert Stump of Glenville; three brothers, Hugh Wilson of Grantsville, Luke Wilson and Johnson Wilson, both of Parkersburg; five sisters, Bessie Ledsome of Reedy, Donnie Waldeck of Parkersburg, Eda Stalnaker of Elizabeth, Ocie Fowler and Mary Starkey, both of Grantsville; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sull Stump; a son Hugert Stump; a brother; and a sister.

Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Glendon McKee officiating. Burial was in Sand Ridge Cemetery.
