Elizabeth Lucille DeWeese ¹

  Noted events in her life were:

• Her obituary was published. Elizabeth L. DeWeese Stump, of 4028 Fourth Avenue, graduated on to her Heavenly home on Monday, Oct. 16, 2006, in The Medical Center, Beaver, where she had been a patient in the Kindred Care Unit.

Born March 18, 1922, in Fenwick, WV, a daughter of the late Harley F. and Lenora Mae Robison DeWeese, she resided in Beaver Falls most of her life. She was a member of the College Hill Church of the Nazarene and had worked as a custodian at the former B&W and Armstrong Cork offices.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Leon L. Stump; four sons, James L. Stump, Midland; Robert W. Stump and Rick L. Stump, East Palestine, Ohio, and Ronald E. Stump, Beaver Falls; a special granddaughter who formerly resided with her, Lenora Lewis, Cleveland, Ohio; three sisters, Ruth Savell, Garland, Texas; June Alman, New Port Richey, Fla., and Faye Hummerston, Lake Milton, Ohio; two brothers, Carl DeWeese, Diamond, Ohio, and Frank DeWeese, Mineral Ridge, Ohio; 20 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2006, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in CAMPBELL'S BEAVER FALLS FUNERAL HOME, 14th Street and Eighth Avenue, www.campbellfuneral homes.com, where funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Ronald Schaeffer, former pastor of the College Hill Church of the Nazarene, officiating.

Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Big Beaver Boro.

Elizabeth married Leon Lincoln Stump, son of Faris E. Stump and Hallie Stump, on an unknown date. (Leon Lincoln Stump was born on 12 February 1920 in Calhoun County, WV and died on 10 December 2014 in Beaver Falls, PA.)
