  Marriage Notes:

Following the death of Sarah's first husband, Joseph Buckmaster, in 1879 she then married Lewis S. Hovey in 1886 who was 20 years older than herself. Lewis was 56 years old when their son was born in 1887. When her widowed mother came to live with them, she was just 8 years older than Sarah's husband, Lewis.
