• She was buried at the Salem Cemetery on 25 September 1915. ¹ The index of "Ohio, Deaths and Burials, 1854-1997" indicates that Mary was buried at "Salem Cemetery, Ind" with no other identifying information. There are several Salem Cemeteries throughout Ohio and Indiana. There is even a Salem Cemetery in Allen County, Indiana where her father was born but no record of her burial there has yet been found. It wouldn't make much sense for a nine-month old infant to be buried anywhere other than the area where the family lived at the time but there are no Salem Cemeteries in Van Wert County, Ohio.
