4 Patsy, was born Anne Maria Pitts on April 16, 1915 in Manassas, Va. She was nicknamed "Patsy", a name she used all of her life. The family moved to Columbia, Va., where she graduated from Fluvanna High School and afterward attended Westhampton College (University of Richmond). While in Columbia, she met her husband, Willard Thomas Henderson , was married at St. John's Church and had her first child, Patricia Anne. The family moved to Richmond where a second daughter, Mary Dabney, was born.

Patsy Henderson died on Monday, November 26, 2007 at Westminster Canterbury in Richmond. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claudia and David Pitts; and her husband of 43 years, Willard Thomas Henderson.

She is survived by her children, Patricia H. Williams and her husband, Harvey, and Mary Dabney H. Webster and her husband, Daniel; five grandchildren, David Williams and his wife, Marnie, Norton Webster and his wife, Karen, Patrick Williams and his wife, Heather, and Mary Landon Pollak and her husband, Matthew; and seven great-grandchildren.

Patsy Henderson will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her gift of laughter, sense of humor and unconditional love. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, November 29, 1 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
