The private internment service of Eugene L. Sandidge, 58, of 703 N. Mill St., Pontiac, will be at South Side Cemetery, Pontiac.
The Rev. Keith Anderson will officiate. Harris-Martin-Burke Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements.
He died at 11:25 AM Monday (April 24, 2000) at his residence.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Mr. Sandidge was born March 8, 1942, in Galesburg, the son of Eugene F. and Lillian J. Snook Sandidge. He married Tomye J. "Sugie" Fearing on April 8, 1967, in Pontiac. She survives.
Other survivors include one son, Brett Sandidge, Pontiac; and one brother, William Sandidge, Galesburg.
His parents preceded him in death.
Mr. Sandidge had been a traffic manager at Pittsburgh Tube in Fairbury until 1983. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Pontiac, and former member of Pontiac Masonic Lodge. He was educated in Galesburg schools and was a graduate of Galesburg High School.
