NOTE - Charles H. Beery who was listed as a nephew was the son of Sophia Etta Swartz, a sister to Henry C. Swartz so his relationship was actually a nephew to his wife, Susannah. Sophia's husband had died some years prior and young Charles was living with his uncle's family. I have not determined where his mother, Sophia, was living at the time of the 1880 census but I believe that she returned east to either Ohio or Illinois where she remarried. [Brian L. Lightfoot]
