Floyd married Effie Alice Beery, daughter of Charles Henry Beery and Dollie Ann Myers, on 9 August 1917 in Kinsley, KS.¹ (Effie Alice Beery was born on 22 June 1899 in Belpre, KS ¹ and died after 9 August 1917.)

  Marriage Notes:

Effie and Floyd had seven children (see Garber) A daughter was Daisy Doll. In Belpre, Kansas, Effie reared family while working hard at odd jobs such as running paper route, washing dishes at cafe, etc.; later ran hotel and rooming house at Klamath Falls, Oregon. In 1918, living in Boise, Idaho.
