Minneiska, Minn. -- (Special to the Republican-Herald) -- Frederick August Frey, 86, Minneiska farmer, died at the Winona General Hospital at 11:45 a.m. Monday after an illness of a week.

Mr. Frey was born January 18, 1854, in Germany. Survivors are his wife ; ten children, George, at home; Mrs. John Biltgen, Winona; Mrs. George Erpelding, Winona; Mrs. Julia Bambenek, Chicago; Fred, Altura; Dora, at home; Charles, California, and Edwin, Walter and Argene, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Beyers and Mrs. Elizabeth Treder, Lewiston; ten grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

This is a complete transcription of Bethany Moravian Cemetery. The stones were in very poor condition and very hard to read. There was a sign there that said: "Former site of Bethany Moravian Church 1867-1979. The Bethany Congregation was organized in 1867 by 14 members including the first Pastor Heinrich Reusswig. Worship was held in a school-house until a church was built in 1872. A new church was built on this site in 1903. It was razed in 1979, three years after the congregation merged with Hebron to form Our Saviors Moravian Church."

The cause of her death was Broncho pneumonia, Influenzia.¹
