Kathryn Pauline Peninger, 87, of Vienna, formerly of Grantsville, died Sunday, April 23, 1995, at Worthington Manor, Parkersburg.

She was born in Richwood, a daughter of the late Rev. Willie Dell and Ora VanHorn Burns. She was a 10-year resident of Vienna, was a member of First Baptist Church, Grantsville, and served in various churches as a teacher and choir member.

Surviving are one daughter, Eva "Bunny" Bennett Turner of Vienna; two granddaughters, Sandra Hinzman Davitian and Reva Dyanne Alkire, both of Vienna; one step-grandson, Steven Turner of Dunedin Florida; one step-granddaughter, Jane P. Kiger of Vienna; two great-grandsons; six step-great-grandsons; two step-great-granddaughters; one step-great-great-granddaughter; four nieces; and one nephew.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene B. Peninger; three sisters, Lela R. Mitcham, Maude Waldo Klabbatzand Eva O. Burns; and one step-great-granddaughter.

Services were scheduled Wednesday, 11 AM, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna, with Rev. John Koemer officiating, and grave side services on Wednesday, 1 p.m., at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Grantsville.
