Pamela Sue Martin, 40, of Spotsylvania, Va., died Sunday, Mar. 2, 2003, at Mary Washington Hospital.
She was the daughter of Richard and Judith Chalfant of Fredericksburg, Va. She received her bachelor of arts degree in accounting from Mary Washington College and had worked in account receivable for Central Rappahannock Regional Library for eight years. She was a member of Knotts United Methodist Church, Grantsville.
Surviving in addition to her parents are one daughter, Melissa A. Merritt of the home; two brothers, Michael Chalfant of Fredericksburg and Charles E. Chalfant of Charleston, SC; maternal grandmother, Lenore G. Booher of Grantsville; two nephews; and one niece.
Services will be held Thursday, 2 PM, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Sonny Gheen officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation was scheduled Wednesday, 6 to 8 PM at the funeral chapel.
