Geraldine Barnes, 75, of Grantsville, died Sunday, Jan. 23, 1994, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, after an extended illness.

She was born in Calhoun, a daughter of the late Edgar and Elma Barr Barnes. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Grantsville,

Surviving are one daughter, Jeanie Smith of Grantsville; one sister, Pauline Barnes of Grantsville; three brothers, Clyde Barnes of Vienna, Bill Barnes, and Ralph Barnes, both of Parkersburg; and one granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by Thurl Barnes.

Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Jim Pearson officiating.

Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
