Lowell E. Wilson, 83, of Ripley, formerly of Arnoldsburg, died Thursday, Mar. 27, 1997, at Elder Care of Ripley.
She was born in Calhoun, a daughter of the late Fred and Maggie Shimer Stump. She was a homemaker and was a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Jean Vanosse of Parkersburg; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonzo Wilson; one son, Robert M. Wilson; one daughter, Stella Hall; one brother, Harlan Stump; and one sister, Goldie Vannoy.
Services were held at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, Arnoldsburg, with elders Michael Richardson and Darrell Hashman officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
