The 1940 US Census shows George married to what appears to be his 2nd wife, Jessie M. (Unknown). On his gravestone, this 2nd wife is buried alongside of him with the name of J. Mae Drury. It is unknown what happened to his 1st wife, Mary. Both wives seem to have nearly the same birth years so it is possible that they may be the same person. But how or why would Jessie Mae come to be called Mary on the 1930 US Census.
