10. Obituary: Mahoning Dispatch, 5 December 1924, Mahoning, Ohio, United States. ¹⁰ Mrs. Samantha A. Moherman, widow of Winchester Moherman, died Monday afternoon of heart trouble at her home in Youngstown. Deceased was born at Orr's Corners, Milton township, Feb. 5, 1831, consequently was in the 94th year of her age. On Feb. 5, 1851, she was married to Winchester Moherman who died Aug. 6, 1906, and from 1851 to 1908 resided at Wickliffe. She was a consistent member of the First Presbyterian church and a woman greatly beloved by all who knew her. Surviving her are the following children; Mrs. H. N. (Henry Neff) Starr and Leander Moherman, Boardman, Maude S. Moherman and Mrs. W. W. (Wallace W.) Woodward, Youngstown; also eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral service held from the family home Thursday afternoon were conducted by Revs. Hudnut and White. Burial in Oak Hill cemetery.
