bullet  General Notes:

The following birth record may suggest that Rose Elfenbein was previously married prior to Julius Egeland. However, there may have been another Rose Elfenbein that lived in nearby Minneapolis around the same time. I'm not sure if they were the same or not.

name: Mignonette Residor
gender: Female
birth date: 19 Nov 1901
father's name: Julius Residor
mother's name: Rosa Or Rose Elfenbein

bullet  Marriage Notes:

At first I thought that Julius moved about similar to some of his siblings; namely from South Dakota to the Saint Paul, Minnesota area. His wife's birth location of Minnesota would also suggest that he met and married her in Minnesota. However, the birth location of their daughter, Bonnie Rose, was in California. Julius is not found in the 1925 South Dakota State Census which suggests that he left the state sometime between 1920 and 1925. Perhaps after getting married in Minnesota around 1925 or so, he and his wife headed west to California where their daughter was born in 1927. Whatever they were looking for in California, they didn't find it because by 1930 the family was back living in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
