• Her obituary was published in the Rock Island Argus on 14 September 2003 in Rock Island, IL.

Memorial services for Anna M. Possin, 78, of Rock Island will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Wheelan Funeral Home, Rock Island. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island.

There is no visitation. Memorials may be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan.

Mrs. Possin died Thursday, Sept. 11, 2003, at Rosewood Care Center, Moline.

The former Anna Lodato was born Jan. 26, 1925, the daughter of Frank and Nora Fazio Lodato. She married Peter D. Possin April 22, 1950, in Rock Island. He died June 26, 1996.

She had worked as a seamstress.

Anna was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Rock Island.

Survivors include several extended family members and close friends.
