  General Notes:

Because the 1870 census shows her name as Lizzie and her mother's name also as Lizzie, is it possible that her true given name should be Elisabeth, the same as her mother? Or was Lizzie just a nickname for Elisa?

There are two records of a marriage for a Lizzie Heitkam in Marion County, Indiana. The first occurred in 1882 and the second in 1884. Not enough is known to determine if either were the correct Elisa "Lizzie" Heitkam.
