Richard W. Holmes, age 71, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Retired from the elevator industry and was a member of the National Elevator Union. Navy and Air Force Veteran. Preceded in death by son Dennis Holmes, parents Emerson and Ruth Holmes, sister Linda Landerfield. Survived by wife of 49 years, Geneva; daughter, Gloria; granddaughter, Jamie Holmes; daughter-in-law, Terry Dwinnells; brother, Phillip (Mary) Holmes; sister, Betsy (Ted) Tracy; numerous other family members. Visitation will be Sunday, March 3, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. at the MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME, 587 Main Street in Groveport, Ohio, where the funeral service will be Monday 11 a.m. Reverend Bob Richardson officiating. Interment Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
