NOTE - One would think that some red flags would be waved on this marriage contract when Howard's mother's surname was Renton and the bride's name was also Renton. Irma was actually a 2nd cousin once removed to Howard. The license application form contains the question "Is the male/female contracting party of nearer blood kin to the female/male contracting party than second cousin? Both Howard and Irma replied "No". The question actually makes the marriage of 2nd cousins permissible.

Based on the obituary for Howard it seems he was remarried at some time to a 2nd wife named Annabelle. No information about his 1st wife, Irma Renton.
