Conway C. Tyson

Conway married Reva W. Snyder, daughter of Alferd Snyder and Jennie McKinney, on 19 September 1919 in Mount Pleasant, MI. (Reva W. Snyder was born in March 1896 in Pompeii, MI ¹ and died after 19 September 1919.)

  Marriage Notes:

The Wexford County, Michigan Marriage Book lists a license issued to Conway C. Tyson of Cadillac, Michigan and Reva W. Snider of Ithaca on 18 Sep 1919. The book also lists a marriage date of 19 Sep 1919 in Mount Pleasant, Isabella County, Michigan. However, the entire entry has a pencil line drawn through everything so it appears that while the actual license was returned filled out by the officiating minister, the marriage was invalidated probably because the license was issued in Wexford County and the marriage performed in Isabella County.

There is also an entry in the Isabella County Marriage Book for an identical marriage license. Strangely, it was also issued on 18 Sep 1919 with the ceremony performed on 19 Sep 1919 in Mount Pleasant, Isabella County, Michigan with the same names for the minister and witnesses.
