² Connie D. Gontz, 50, of 334 Strohm Road, Shippensburg, died Monday, Aug. 16, 2004, in Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown, Md.

Born Dec. 2, 1953, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of Harry L. and Violet R. (Lightfoot) Helm, both of Shippensburg.

Mrs. Gontz was a 1972 graduate of Shippensburg High School and was employed as administrative assistant to the Dean of the College of Business at Shippensburg University.

She is survived by her parents; her husband, Clifford G. Gontz, whom she married June 26, 1993; a daughter, Kelly E. Reilly Stine of Shippensburg; two stepdaughters, Ginger L. Gontz of Chambersburg and Brandy L. Gilbert of Shippensburg; and a grandson.

Services were. Friday in Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, 112 W. King St., Shippensburg, with the Rev. Edsel C. Calhoun and the Rev. Daniel Bach officiating. Burial was in the Cleversburg Cemetery, Southampton Township, Cumberland County.
