He was born 8 Oct 1917 at Alma, Michigan, s/o Lloyd & Mary A [Mowery] Sabin. Mr. Sabin worked as a Tool & Die maker for the Multi-Lead Tool & Engineering Company for 50 years. He was a member of the VFW, #701, Masonic Lodge, #33, Elks Lodge #196, all of Lansing; as well as the Quiet Birdman Club of Lansing Hanger. He was a veteran of WW II, serving in the US Air Force as a fighter pilot.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Betty J.; 3 sons and a daughter-in-law, Jan Sabin, James Sabin and Edward & Dawn Sabin, and 1 sister and brother-in-law, Joanne & Larry Ringwelsi, all of Grand Ledge; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services, Jan 14 at the Peters & Murray Funeral Home, Grand Ledge, with Rev. Barbara Smith-Jang of the Grand Ledge First United Methodist Church officiating.
