bullet  General Notes:

The exact birth location of Mary can be somewhat confusing. The 1880 US Census shows that she was born in Illinois but at the same time all 3 children show the birth location of their mother to be in Missouri. This may have been a mistake by the enumerator in that Mary herself indicated that her mother was born in Missouri so perhaps the enumerator duplicated that information as it pertained to the children and entered Missouri instead of Illinois. But then on the 1900 US Census she indicated that her mother was born in Arkansas.
