NOTE - The given name on the original census form is very light and difficult to read. Perhaps it is Emma but could possibly some other name slightly longer. The census form does state that she was an "Adopted daughter". It is doubtful that she was a daughter of Charlotte because the birth locations of both parents of Emma are marked as unknown.
