8 James Shambaugh died at 4 o'clock this morning at his home, 208 South Diamond Street, following an illness of 10 days with bronchial pneumonia and heart trouble. He was 79 years of age. He is survived by his wife and two foster daughters, Mrs. Margaret Baer, and Mrs. Annie Winters, Mr. Shambaugh was the youngest of a family of fourteen children and was a resident of this county all of his life. The funeral will be Saturday afternoon at the First Lutheran Church, of which the deceased was a member. The Rev. S. L. Long will conduct the services.
