Sharpsburg '96 Mrs. Charlotte Elizabeth Lohman, 85, widow of Charles A. Lohman, of 85 Bloody Lane, died at the Reeder memorial Nursing Home in Sharpsburg Monday afternoon. Born in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Martha Shafer.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Sharpsburg.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Florence Carrick of Washington, D.C.; one son, Robert A. Lohman of Edgewater; one sister, Mrs. Lola Snyder of Rt. 11, Harpers Ferry, WV; two brothers, Robert E. Shafer and Charles E. Shafer, both of Hagerstown; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Services will be held at the Bast Funeral Home in Boonsboro Thursday at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Roger Martin will officiate. Burial will be in the Mountain View Cemetery in Sharpsburg. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
