January 18, 1999 Frederick, MD Newspaper reported that the funeral was on 21 January 1999 at Zion Lutheran Church, Middletown, MD. Bearers were Dwight Crone, Jeff Miller, Pat Putnam, Sam Lenhart, Gary O'Bryan, Amos Keller Jr., Jeff Fox. He was buried in the Lutheran Cemetery, Middletown, MD. He died in an overturned dump truck carrying a load of dirt to a home in the Frederick area. He was 72 at death. Cause of death was a heart attack.
