It is somewhat strange that they were married in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Both were of legal age in Maryland. Both were residing in Maryland. So why did they travel just across the state line to Franklin County, Pennsylvania to be married? Why weren't they married in Frederick County, Maryland? Apparently they probably came right back to Maryland to live and all of their children were born in Maryland.
