Geraldyne V. "Jerry" Walker, age 88, of Columbia City, formerly of Wolcottville and LaGrange, IN. died, Monday, October 30, 2006, at The Oaks in Columbia City.

She was born September 17, 1918 in Ligonier, IN. to the late, Myrten and Beulah May (Johnson) Gray.

Geraldyne was a homemaker and a member of the Wolcottville United Methodist Church. She belonged to the Naomi Circle, was the Past-President/Secretary/ Treasurer of the Wolcottville Community Club, a member of the Delta Chi Fraternity Mothers Association of Purdue University and a member of the Order of Eastern Star Sylvan Chapter #251, serving as Past Grand Page, Past Grand Representative, Past District Deputy and Past Worthy Grand Matron.
She married Hugh M. Walker, Sr. on December 24, 1938 in Wolcottville, IN. He preceded her in death on September 9, 1980.
Surviving is her son, Hugh M. Walker, Jr. of Claypool, IN.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, a sister, Sharon Pieratt of LaGrange, IN.; two brothers, Myrten Gray of LaGrange, IN.; and Maynard Gray of Wolcottville, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Lois Henson and Donna Richmond and a brother, Walter Gray.

Funeral services will be held at 10am, Saturday, November 4th at the Frurip-May Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Welling officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Wolcottville, IN.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, November 3rd from 4-8pm, with an Order of Eastern Star service at 8pm.

Memorial may be contributed in Geraldyne's name to the Wolcottville United Methodist Church or the Order of Eastern Star Sylvan Chapter #251.
