• Her obituary was published in the Anthon Herald on 27 February 1952 in Anthon, IA.

² Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Anthon Methodist Church for Mrs. T. C. White of Sioux City, a former resident of the Anthon-Correctionville-Oto communities. Mrs. White died Friday night at a Sioux City hospital after an eight-week serious illness. Rev. D. H. Artman officiated at the funeral service. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery at Anthon under direction of Hudgel Funeral Home. Survivors include the widower, Thomas of Sioux City; two sons, Clair R. of Correctionville and Merle of Anthon; a daughter, Mrs. Maxine Jerman of Vancouver, Washington; a brother, C. W. Crees of Bayard, Iowa; 16 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Preceding her was a son, Lester T. White, who died in 1937, four brothers and four sisters. Emma Crees, daughter of Joel and Catherine Crees, was born December 11, 1884, at Marne, Audubon Co., Iowa. She was united in marriage to Thomas C. White December 27, 1904, at Hamlin, Iowa.
