Fred Adolph Schultz
- Born: 10 Dec 1896, Marinette, WI
- Died: 1899, Marinette, WI at age 3
General Notes:
The birth and death locations of Marinette County, Wisconsin, for this infant do not fit in with the other known residences of the parents. Even the birth date of 10 Dec 1896 would seem to conflict with the birth date of another child, Vilas Schultz, who was born in Jun 1896 according to the family's 1900 census.
The conclusion is that in spite of the death record which gives the parents names as Edward and Emma Schultz, this was a different set of parents with very similar names and that Fred Adolph Schultz was not related to this family.
As a consequence, I then have only 6 of the names of the children when the 1900 census indicated that there were a total of 7 children but 2 were already dead. Researcher Robert Westphal supplies one additional name of another child as Walter Charles Schultz, born 16 Feb 1902, in Beaver Dam, Dodge County, Wisconsin. But since that birth was after the 1900 census in which they supposedly already had 7 children by then, there still is one other missing name. ---------------------------------------------
