On the actual 1920 census image, her age was entered as "3" and then something following was written in which many transcribers assumed to be a letter "M" indicating that she was only 3 months old at the time of the census. In the process of transcribing these ages for the index, 3 months becomes "0". Thus her age usually is shown as "0" and as a result many researchers assume that she was born in 1920 or at the end of 1919.

However, the 1930 census shows her with an age of 13. This means that whatever entry followed her age of "3" on the 1920 census was just scribbling or an erroneous marking of some sort and that her age at that time was actually 3 years meaning that she was born in 1916. The 1930 census confirms this and correctly provides an age of "13" which also corresponds with a birth year of 1916.
