Miss Daisy Gertrude Abrecht, daughter of the late John W. and Sarah E. Abrecht, was stricken with a heart attack Wednesday evening at about 9 o'clock at the corner of West Second street and College avenue and died within a few minutes. Miss Abrecht was returning to her home from a teachers' meeting of the Presbyterian Sunday school of which she was a teacher. The deceased is survived by one sister, Mrs. Clark Devilbiss and two brothers, Luther W. and John D. Abrecht, all of this city. The body is now resting at the C. E. Cline Funeral Home, 8 East Patrick street. No arrangements have as yet been made for the funeral. C. E. Cline and Son, funeral directors.
The funeral of Miss Daisy G. Abrecht, who died very suddenly Wednesday night took place Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The services were held at the home of her brother, John D. Abrecht, College avenue, and were in charge of Rev. Dr. C. E. Wehler and his assistant, Rev. Melvin R. Morris of the Presbyterian church. The funeral was largely attended. There were many beautiful floral tributes. The casket bearers were: George Abrecht, Harry Quinn, Clarke Devilbiss, Jr., Kenneth Devilbiss, John Austin Devilbiss and John F. Abrecht. Interment was made in Mt. Olivet cemetery. C. E. Cline and Son, funeral directors. ![]()
