Prior to retirement, Mr. Abrecht had been employed by the P. L. Hargett Company, Seeger Hardware, the Frederick Lumber & Supply Co., and, for several years, with the 120 Realty Company. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church. He was a member and past director of the Independent Hose Co. No. 1. He was the last of his immediate family.

Friends will be received at the Smith, Keeney & Basford Funeral Home on Mar. 25. Funeral services on Mar. 28 at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
