Possible 1940 US Census:

Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon, United States
Coleman Old People Home
Charles Wilson..Patient..68..Iowa..Widowed..8th grade

This is probably the wrong person in spite of the age, birth location, and marital status being a match. Charles Wilson was enumerated in 1930 in Reno, NV and died there in 1959. There is no reason for him to have moved to Portland, OR at age 68 other than to possibly move into the "Old Folks Home" there. His married son is thought to have remained in the Los Angeles, CA area.

bullet  Marriage Notes:

There were several "Nettie Wilsons" that were born in Missouri in 1877 and died in either Oklahoma or Missouri. Most have little or no other information about them so it is nearly impossible to tell if any of them might actually be Vincette M. "Nettie" Roberts.

There seems to be no other information about the death date or location of "Nettie" Roberts. However, the WWI Draft Registration Card for her husband, Charles Bradford Wilson, shows him living in Oak Creek, Routt County, Colorado in 1918. On that card, he lists his son, Charles Fitz Wilson, as the closest relative that would always know his address. Typically, a husband lists the name of his spouse but because the name of Nettie Wilson was not listed, it is probably safe to assume that she died before 1918. Some researchers claim that she died in 1908 but no source citations have been provided.

Her husband, Charles, is not found in the 1910 or 1920 US Census records but the 1930 US Census shows him living in Reno, NV and he was listed as widowed. Their son, Charles Fitz Wilson, was married on Los Angeles, CA in 1922.
