bullet  Marriage Notes:

Although the 1930 census clearly shows a wife with the name of Beulah Lightfoot, there seems to be no evidence of a marriage for Chester R. Lightfoot to anyone with the name of Beulah or any other name prior to 1930 other than Mary Ella Marsh, his first wife in 1919.

In 1935, Chester married Peggy Marie Hood. Both Chester and Peggy had indicated on that marriage license in 1935 that each had been married only once before. Either that was a mistake on Chester's part or perhaps he and the Beulah showing on the 1930 census were never actually married but merely living together and they listed her name on the 1930 census as Beulah Lightfoot as a matter of convenience.
