7 IRA EDWIN MURPHY, 510 No. Mill St., Springfield, died Friday, Feb 22, 1952 at the age of 91.

He was born in Galesburg, Ill., Feb 18, 1861 and came to Springfield 31 years ago. He was a retired grocer and a member of the Springfield Christian Church.

Surviving are his widow Dora, four daughters, Era Dell Murphy and Zola Mae Arehart of Springfield and Velma B. Anderson and Hazel Lucille Richardson of Eugene; two sons Arthur and Dallas of Springfield; a granddaughter Patsy V. Anderson of Eugene and a sister Ava M. Elfea of Carthage, Ill. Services will be held in Bartholomew-Buell Chapel, Monday at 2 PM with Dr. E. R Moon and the Rev. Wilma Perry officiating. Burial in Rest-Haven.
