  General Notes:

My uncle Leroy (Freddie Leroy) Alsup, married Audrey Hall about the time we moved to Phoenix, abt 1953, if memory serves me correctly. Audrey was a nurse, and I remember that she was quite a bit older than Leroy. They divorced only after a few years.

When my grandfather was dying in Mt Vernon, Audrey was working at the Sanatorium where Willie was hospitalized. I remember Audrey coming to visit all of us (several times) at grandpa Willie's death bed. We were there during Christmas holidays, 1956. Audrey subsequently moved to St Joseph to work in a hospital. We know she never remarried. She died in St Joseph, MO.

Audrey married Fred Leroy Alsup, son of William David Alsup and Florence May Lawson, in 1956 in Mount Vernon, MO.¹ The marriage ended in divorce. (Fred Leroy Alsup was born on 29 August 1924 in Aurora, MO ^{1 4} and died on 15 October 1981 in Tulsa, OK ^{1 4}.)
