ARKANSAS CITY - Lulu Mae Hilderbrandt, 88, of Arkansas City, died April 17, 2003, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Francis Campus in Wichita.
Services were 2 p.m. April 18 at Riverview Cemetery. Pastor Dennis Jordan officiated. Hawks Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Hilderbrandt was born Sept. 28, 1914, in Aurora, Missouri, to Velma (Alsup) and Wade Crull. She was raised in Oklahoma.
On July 23, 1932, she married William Charles Hilderbrandt Sr. in Tulsa, Okla., and they lived in Arkansas City.
She was a member of the Foursquare Church.
Her husband died Nov. 9, 1986. She was also preceded in death by a stepson, William C. Hilderbrandt Jr.
Survivors include nieces and nephews Frances and Wesley Conner, with whom she lived, Melvin and Trudy Masingale, and Rick and Barbara Crull, all of Arkansas City.
