I had previously thought that this gravestone belonged to Sarah S. Grow, daughter of Henry and Adeline Grow but now I'm not too sure. The gravestone indicates a date of death of 20 June 1860, but Sarah's name is clearly listed on the 1870 census report taken on 9 July 1870. At this point I would have to say that if it is the correct Sarah, then either the gravestone is mismarked or misread due to weathering. It is also possible that this could be a different Sarah born to a different father other than Henry Grow. (Brian L. Lightfoot)

Sarah's gravestone is badly weathered and barely readable. What can be discerned as of September 2002 reads "Sarah (S?). daughter of (H?). & (A?). Grow, Died June 20, 186(0?); Aged 3m 27d".
